One Week Dance Company is a dance company based in Aarhus C, Denmark. We create contemporary dance for stages, galleries and unexpected spaces across Denmark.

Why a week
A week is long enough for something to change, and short enough that we must choose. The constraint is our choreographic engine.

Our movement language is built on weight transfer, flow and breath — bodies that yield and bodies that carry.

For many rooms
Formats adapt to black box, foyer, gym hall or open square. We start from the acoustics and light of the place.
